Career Counseling Workshop and Teaching Program!

Posted by Rewa Smriti on January 15, 2013

Dear Friends,

This year we have planned to focus mainly on career counseling in the continuation of other activities. As part of career counseling students will be guided through the various career options. And I hope that Raghav Sir will continue to help us and tell us how and what should be done.

In my opinion 11th & 12th class Navodayans face problems to take a stand about their career – how and what to study? Navodayans have the ability to crack any exam from our school itself!!! We would provide career counseling to JNV students. Few initiatives need to be taken in this direction. We need to organize career counseling workshops for 11th and 12th class students at least 3-4 times in a year, especially during vacation time of volunteers. Also volunteers can choose any JNVs for any duration.

We may send 2-4 volunteers to each school to provide career counseling and take some classes, in order to solve their queries. We would also facilitate classes for the students during their summer and winter vacations, so that they can take the benefit of classes to cover/revise their 11th-12th class syllabus. We may include online teaching services as well, depending upon the needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for present Navodayans to interact with their seniors as well as to take guidance to make their future bright. Keeping this in mind, we have already started counseling & teaching programs in some JNVs. We invite all the alumni who are interested in career counseling program to  give their names here or please click on the following link JNV Alumni – Career Counseling and Teaching Program and mention their names. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Your suggestions and comments are always welcome, we would really appreciate it!!!

Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful. ― Mark Victor Hansen

You are not alone, but in this union with your brothers and sisters, there is hope.
