यादों के झूलों पर झूलते हुए आज
ढूँढ रही हूँ प्यार के वो बिखरे हुए साज़
रिश्तों की गठरी है आज मेरे पास
संभाल कर रखे है पुराने संस्कारों के पाश |
अब तक मन में खिली है गुलमोहर की बहार
बसा है कन कन में उसका खुश्बू भरा प्यार
नीली नदिया के किनारे मन के पग थम जाए
जहाँ रुका हर शक्स अपनासा बन जाए |
याद है मुझे प्रेम का हरा गलीचा बुना हुआ
मुलायम रेशमी तागॉ से रिश्तों में पिरोया हुआ
एक दिन मैं वापस लौटकर वहीं आउंगी
प्यार की पल्लवी अपने साथ लेकर जाउंगी |
ज़िंदगी की राहों में बहुत आगे निकल आई हूँ
अपने लोगों में रहते हुए ,पराई सी हुई हूँ
विदा लेती हूँ सबसे ,बहुत बाकी है चलना राह-ए-गुजर
देखना है कहा ले जाए,नसीब की पगडंडी का सफ़र. |

दो शब्द मेरे तरफ से-
इन पगडंडियों से मैं भी कभी गुज़री थी
वो भी एक वक़्त था जो हाथों से फिसल गया.
