Your silent steps of love!
Posted by Rewa Smriti on November 30, 2011
Lost in thoughts
Swinging in the wind
A silent soul
With ‘a bag of mixed’ emotions
Searches for words
Holding a pen,
Between ‘silent’ lips
In silver light
Recalling restless spirit!
Before you reveal
Your unsaid feelings
Blown in the wind
Touched my silence, I felt
Deep in the heart
So close, so near
Through the passing clouds
While turning the wheel
You whispered
The words “I Love You…”
Yet, you say-
The world isn’t blind
Never fear, no
Just be silent, like a fish
Flow in deep river
For the river is flowing…
And I follow quietly
Your silent steps of love!

This poem besides having a lyrical excellence,an inherent rhythm and a very handy tune is doing a great socio- ecological service to fast cruding out world where land acquisition is done for asset building to ignite dominance and hatred! To symbolize status—-,to snatch a free move of air.I ,right from my M.Sc days, very much enchanted by this flower’we called Butea monosperma’in ecological jargon and ‘पलाश’ in poetic rhymes. During our field exercizes I found that this flower blooms in the dry deciduous sub arid and arid regions of Rajasthan when all others flowers dry out owing to onset of summers in late April. It suddenly gives an illuminated look to dry forest as if glitterd with red bulbs!——–this symbolizes this flowers’endurant tendencies to ward of hopelessness and flag a fortune amidst adversities. In todays world we are fast metamorphising ourselves from COGNITIVE BEING TO CYBER BEING.CRUSHED AMIDST HARSHNESS OF LIFE we drag our life to simulated happiness resting on artficial stiumliis! But the very existence of this flower still assures us the glee over the vast stretches of plains where we played joyfully. In many parts of country I saw this flower being venerated religiously too.Palash promises revival, assures survival and promotes hope! All who love palash have a lurking attachment to conserve nature and socialize humanity.Rewa your composition takes me to a journey to my favourite William Words worthworths’ note worthy linings saying

Congrats for being in tune with a great poet like him. With my best wishes

@Tarun,
Hmmm…bachche dil ke sachche!
As I mentioned in one of my posts that I am in love with my favorite flower since my childhood. Please click on the link to read about it: http://rewa.wordpress.com/2008/04/07/in-love-with/
Aah about Palash…where love is concerned, too much is not even enough. Isn’t it?
I feel, we must make a special room in our life for someone as important to us as ourselves, and we can give a lot just by paying attention to a loved one!
with love,
your didi.
